3basics — redefining health
OUR APPROACH

Our Pillars and How We Put Them into Practice

Ingredient, Technology and Routine form the foundation of 3Basics. Our approach brings these principles together in every formulation. The pillars guide our decisions. The approach puts them into practice.

THE FOUNDATION

Our Three Pillars

The three basics define what we consider throughout development: what goes into a product, how it is formulated and how it fits into a consistent routine. They are the principles against which we examine every choice.

Ingredient — Know what goes into the formula

An ingredient name is the starting point, not the answer. We look further into its identity, composition, preparation and relevant research to understand what it can genuinely contribute, and how closely the material we source relates to the preparation that has actually been studied.

Our formulation requirements guide sourcing. We look for materials that meet those requirements, using relevant testing to assess them.

Technology — Prepare each formulation with purpose

Ingredient selection and product development belong together. We consider the properties of the material, the intended format, and challenges such as dispersion, stability and delivery.

Technology has a role where it addresses a defined formulation need. Our development work explores ways to help the body use selected ingredients, and any claim of improved absorption or performance needs evidence relevant to that specific formulation.

Routine — Make consistent use practical

A product needs a place in everyday life. Serving size, format and clear directions all influence how easily it becomes part of a daily routine.

We aim to explain the purpose of each formulation and set realistic expectations for its use. Consistency sits alongside balanced meals, sleep, movement and appropriate healthcare, part of everyday care, not a substitute for it.

THE EXECUTION

How We Put the Pillars into Practice

Our approach combines three capabilities. Their value comes from how they inform one another throughout development.

Formulation development

Formulation Development

Every formulation begins with a clear health objective. We review ingredient research, determine appropriate ingredients and amounts, and consider compatibility, delivery format, and product design. Insights from evaluation and testing help refine the formulation and improve the final product.

Specialized ingredient expertise

Specialized Ingredient Expertise

Our ingredient expertise guides how we assess source, identity, production, extraction, and standardization. We review relevant research and studied preparations to define specifications, evaluate supplier information, and identify the most meaningful quality measures.

Testing

Testing provides measurable data to support ingredient assessment. We use HPLC analysis to evaluate composition and specified compounds, alongside safety testing for contaminants such as heavy metals and microbes. These findings help verify quality and assess materials against our requirements.

OUR NICHE

Where Everything Comes Together.

Our niche sits at the intersection of Formulation Development, Specialized Ingredient Expertise and Laboratory Testing.

Formulation development determines how the ingredients come together. Ingredient expertise helps define what to select and measure. Laboratory testing informs assessment and refinement.

Together, these capabilities support the three basics: Purposeful Ingredients, Smarter Technology and Designed for Consistency.
