The three basics · Energy
Energy
How efficiently your cells turn what you eat and breathe into usable fuel. This is the layer underneath tiredness — slower to change, and the one most people never get to.
Most tiredness has an obvious cause and an obvious fix — you are not sleeping, you are not eating properly, you are doing too much. No supplement solves any of those, and you should be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise.
What a supplement can work on is the layer underneath: how efficiently your cells convert food and oxygen into usable energy, and how well they hold up under sustained demand. That efficiency changes with age and it is not a symptom of anything. It is slower to shift and slower to notice, which is exactly why it gets ignored.
That is the layer this shelf works on.
The biology. Mitochondria are where food and oxygen become ATP, the currency everything in your body is paid in. A cell holds hundreds to thousands of them, and their efficiency changes over a life. The cordyceps research is interested in the pathways involved in maintaining that population — laboratory and animal work, not human trials, and we say so on the product page too.
